Oldham Sixth Form College has run a successful blood donation programme since April 2002. To date, over 1,200 different donors have attended the sessions with the intention of donating blood. As well as students, a number of staff have donated blood at these events, of which some have received their Silver Award for donating blood.
A number of students have been birthday donors and have donated blood on their 17th birthday.
If you are interested in donating blood, make sure that you check your email regularly for information on when registration opens.
